Counter Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while managing transactions and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for hospitality, making every customer’s experience memorable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in a professional manner.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and surrounding spaces to provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide information about services offered, including dry cleaning options and other hospitality-related inquiries.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Garment folding of our Wash, Dry, and Fold services.
• Assisting with garment assembly and bagging.
• Assist with loading / unloading washer and dryer.

Requirements

·         Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

·         Familiarity with cash handling procedures and computerized point of sale is a plus.

·         Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.

·         Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.

·         A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time – 12:00 noon-5:30pm Afternoon’s only and possibly an occasional Saturday

Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour
